Welcome to Acorn Antiques, a family run Antique shop and Upholstery Service in Dulverton, Exmoor, Somerset, in the West of England.
Acorn Antiques supply Handmade Sofas and Chairs, Georgian and Victorian Country House Furniture, Fine Art, Antique Furniture, Antique Upholstery and Decorative Antique Collectables from the 18th, 19th and early 20th Centuries. Here you will also find handmade copies of the Howard Sofa, Howard Chair, Chesterfield Sofas and Georgian Wing Back Armchairs, Leather Sofas and Leather Chairs and Knole Sofas all classic examples of English country house upholstered furniture, copies of period sofas and chairs made in the traditional way in our own Somerset workshop.
Established in 1988 and run by Peter and Maggie Hounslow, Acorn Antiques also offer a Re-upholstery Service, a bespoke Interior Design service and restoration/conservation of Oil paintings. Acorn Antiques, situated in the Somerset Town of Dulverton, within The Exmoor National Park, is within easy reach of Bristol, Bath, Taunton, Exeter, Minehead and Barnstaple and close to the Devon border near Tiverton. We can arrange delivery of Antiques, Chairs and Sofas UK wide. We do not provide an e- commerce facility because we prefer to have direct contact with our customers in order to cater exactly to their requirements.
